Changing road user behavior

Creating strategic communication and mass media campaigns to change road user behavior.

Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety and its partners use our expertise to support national and local governments in creating strategic communication and mass media campaigns to raise public awareness of the key risk factors and facilitate change of user behavior and then evaluate the effectiveness of the campaigns after launch.

The initiative partner, Vital Strategies, provides support to cities in developing strategic communication plans; conducting message testing for the campaign content to inform strategic messaging; produce effective audiovisual materials for campaigns, including products for TV and radio, social media and large format print; evaluating campaign outcomes; building capacity of local professionals; and conducting press conference and media events for PR purposes.
